Statement from Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort

Cancun,
Mexico -- (August 21, 2007) -We can confirm that Hurricane
Dean spared Cancun and the Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort
did not suffer any structural damage. The hotel, which was evacuated
as a precautionary measure, will reopen for business Thursday,
August 23, 2007. The hotel team is currently in the process of
cleaning up scattered debris and down fallen trees.
The
safety and security of our guests and staff is our primary concern.
For their safety, all guests were transported to Hilton Villahermosa
on August 20, 2007, where they were able to arrange their travel
home. All guests and staff are safe.
The
Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort has hurricane and emergency
procedures in place and implemented them immediately in anticipation
of the storm.
The
hotel is working with the local authorities and tourism partners.
